Save the Date: Tides, Trails & Traditions - A Huron North Micro-Tourism Summit
Dear Members, Community Leaders, Tourism Partners and Local Champions;
Please save March 26th 2026 for an inspiring one-day gathering focused on the future of micro-tourism in Huron North region.
Tides, Trails and Traditions is a regional micro-tourism summit bringing together people with a passion for tourism. Together, we'll explore how small-scale, place-based experiences can drive sustainable economic growth, strengthen local identity and connect our communities.
The 2026 Summit is about discovering what we already have and what we can build together under the following themes:
Tides: our shoreline, waterways and natural landscapes
Trails: the routes that connect people, places and experiences
Traditions: the stories, culture, and heritage that define us
Together, these elements form the foundation for a strong, resilient visitor economy - one that supports local businesses, celebrates community and creates opportunities across the region.
Why Attend:
representation for your community, organization or business
help to define what micro-tourism means for our region
identify local and regional tourism assets and opportunities
explore how trails, culture and nature can work together as economic drivers
connect with potential partners, funders and collaborators
contribute to shaping a shared Huron North Micro-Tourism Framework
networking opportunities
member tourism project opportunity
Join us for a summit designed to spark collaboration and ideas that will help to lay the groundwork for the future.
